Imperfect Clay Co. began in January 2021 and has since grown into Imperfect & Co. What started with whimsical clay jewelry and decor has evolved into much more! Today, Imperfect & Co. is home to handmade art, jewelry, decor, custom keepsakes, and sometimes curated vintage finds. Everything is made or selected by Romy in St. Albans, Vermont. Imperfect & Co. celebrates the natural world and the life experiences that make us all human. We are especially drawn to the little details that can easily go unnoticed, like a single real milkweed flower when we are so used to seeing them as a cluster. We love finding new ways to showcase familiar things and create pieces that bring a little joy into everyday life. There is something special about seeing someone's face light up over a daisy, a kiwi preserved in resin, or a vintage piece that feels like it was meant for them.

Our work is always evolving. While clay was where we began, it is now just one part of what we do. We work primarily with resin, clay, and wood, preserve meaningful flowers and memories, and curate vintage finds that complement the handmade pieces we offer. Becoming Imperfect & Co. reflects that growth and gives us room to continue changing alongside our community!

We also offer custom work for life's most meaningful moments, from preserving wedding flowers to creating memorial pieces. Each piece is made with care and attention to the story behind it.

Accessibility is important to us because we want our work to be something everyone can enjoy. We think about accessibility in our designs, including offering options like clip-on earring backs, as well as in our pricing. Above all, we want to create genuine, thoughtful pieces that feel personal and continue to evolve with time.
